Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 08:31PM Today, for the first time in my life, I spoke to my birth mother. It has been an amazing week. I'll write more later, but I feel like I've been given a second spring. The weight of the world is off my shoulders.

Friday, March 30, 2007 at 09:38AM new responsibilities in my "other life" have somewhat limited my ability to partake in things of an artistic bent. but i shall rectify the situation as best i can! i have some interesting travel lined up: in may, off to florida for a few days. then this summer, up to rural northen idaho to see wolves and bears and what not. in september and october, off to berlin and frankfurt and boston, and capping the year off with another visit to london. hopefully, i'll be able to hold on to my backpack this time.
i still haven't replaced my ipod. i keep waiting for apple to announce a big change...i'm not going to buy before they do.

Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 07:46AM just got back from london...my first bad trip to the uk.
as soon as i landed i took the victoria express from gatwick to victoria station. there, in the queue attempting to renew my oyster card (used for underground, buses, etc) my backpack was stolen...laptop, IPOD!!!, and various other things.
i filled out a police report (hah), but needless to say, they are gone.
on the good side, i stayed once again in kensington, and walked quite a bit of london. my favorite part was taking the cobblestone street that runs down embassy row and kensington palace late at night.
